Assign a Job (Training)

If this your first time reading this training guide, open 'How to Assign a Job' step by step guide to view alongside this training guide.

There is functionality to assign a job to a particular user. Once assigned to the job, the user can accept or decline the shift. The user should work the shift if they accepted it. If the user cancels, the job will either get re-posted or re-assigned to another member of staff.

Permissions:

The permissions required are Post a Job with the ability to Post to Bank and/or Post to Agency and/or Post to Permanent.

Process Flow:

Assigning a job is a different functionality from posting a job. While posting a job, it goes to all users you have selected, however assigning a job is giving the job to one member off staff, so they can accept it without any competition.

Once accepted, the job appears in my jobs section of the user. If the user declines the assigned job, then there is functionality to re-assign it to another user or it will become available to be posted out instead. There is also functionality for the assigned user to cancel the shift before the shift start. This will be reassigned or re-posted again as required.
