Post a Job (Training)

If this your first time reading this training guide, open 'How to Post a Job' step by step guide to view alongside this training guide.

A job is a piece of work or shift that needs filling. The admin users or users with the permission will post out these jobs to the staff members who are registered with JMS One. Once these jobs are posted out to the staff, it is the staff's responsibility to work that shift. There is functionality for the staff who accepted a job to be able to cancel it prior to the start of the shift.

Permissions:

The permissions required are Post a Job with the ability to Post to Bank and/or Post to Agency and/or Post to Permanent.

Process Flow:

A Job can be posted to different staff, but mainly to Permanent Staff, Bank Staff and Agency Staff or a combination of these. Once a Job is posted out, it goes out to the particular staff you selected. All the staff who weren't selected will not get the job posted to them. Every user who was selected can view the posted job available to them, and it will be displayed in their New Jobs section on the JMS One App or Web. Whilst posting a job, there is functionality to exclude specific users from the job.

Once the job you have posted becomes available to the users, they are able to accept them. When a job is accepted by a user, it is automatically removed from the new jobs section and will now appear in the 'My Jobs' section of the user who accepted the job. Once the job is accepted, the job will have to be worked to fruition for the job to be complete. There is also functionality for the user to cancel an accepted job before the job starts. Once the job has been cancelled, there is functionality to repost the job to other staff of your choice.
